On February 12, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano.

The parties had a detailed discussion of their views on the current issues of Russia-IAEA cooperation, including the situation around Iran’s nuclear programme.

The Russian Federation and the International Atomic Energy Agency have demonstrated a high level of understanding and cooperation.
