Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov
On June 30 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov. The conversation was held at the initiative of the Belarusian side.
The ministers discussed current issues of Russian-Belarusian relations and exchanged views on important international and regional matters. They agreed to continue their close cooperation on various multilateral platforms.
Sergey Lavrov took the opportunity to congratulate his colleague on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the fraternal country.
