Foreign Ministry statement on the situation in the Palestine-Israeli conflict zone

As a result of an abrupt escalation in the area affected by the Palestine-Israeli conflict, the number of victims on both sides has already exceeded 1,400 people, including civilians. Thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been wounded.

We express deepest condolences to the families and friends of all those killed and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

The Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation advises Russian citizens against visiting Israel and the Palestinian territories. Those who are currently in Israel or the Palestinian territories are advised to remain extremely vigilant and maintain contact with representatives of the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Russian Federation.
