Press release on the exchange of greetings between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shoukry on the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries
On August 26, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shoukry exchanged greetings on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The ministers noted the traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Egypt, based on mutual respect, and the high level of strategic partnership achieved. They stressed their interest in continuing political dialogue on topical issues on the regional and international agenda, as well as in strengthening bilateral cooperation across the board.
