On the delivery of Russian humanitarian aid to Cuba
PRESS RELEASE
In the framework of the implementation of the decision adopted by the leadership of the Russian Federation on the provision of humanitarian aid to the population of the Republic of Cuba, hit by the devastating hurricane «Sandy» on November 1 the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ensured the delivery of 30 tons of humanitarian aid by the special plane in Santiago de Cuba (first of all it was building materials) intended for the most affected areas of the island.
