A meeting with Indian participants of the First Moscow "BRICS+ Fashion Summit"

On December 22, at the invitation of the Spouse of the Russian Ambassador to India Diana Alipova, the Embassy hosted representatives of the local fashion industry who took part in the First BRICS+ Fashion Summit held in Moscow from November 28 to December 2.

During the discussion with the participation of more than 30 local media representatives, Sameep Shastri, Vice Chairman of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underscored that such events should be organized annually in each country of the association, pointing out that they help promote business. Among those who also shared their positive emotions from visiting Moscow were President of the Fashion Design Council of India Sunil Sethi, President of the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India Rajesh Masand and popular Indian actress and fashion activist Aishwarya Sharma. They all agreed that such a format of cultural diplomacy within the BRICS+ framework is in high demand.
