A telephone conversation took place on July 8 between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Ivanov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Ana Palacio. The ministers exchanged views on a number of pressing issues on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council in relation to Spain's current Presidency of the Council.
