First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Denisov Meets with Spanish Ambassador to Moscow Luis Felipe Fernández de la Peña

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Andrey Denisov received on October 11 the recently appointed Ambassador of Spain to the Russian Federation, Luis Felipe Fernández de la Peña.

During their conversation they examined issues relating to the further development of Russian-Spanish ties in different areas, and discussed prospects for the continuation of political dialogue between the two countries, in particular, in the context of the Cross-Cultural Exchange Year between Russia and Spain now being held. The parties noted the striving of the two countries to reinvigorate their investment and economic cooperation and cultural, tourist, sporting and youth exchanges. An exchange of views took place on topical issues of the international agenda.
