Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko Converses with Spanish Ambassador Juan Antonio Marc Pujol

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko held a meeting on July 21 with the Ambassador of Spain, Juan Antonio Marc Pujol, who has completed his diplomatic assignment in Moscow.
They discussed Russian-Spanish relations and cooperation between the two countries in international affairs during the Ambassador's three-year stint in Moscow, noting with satisfaction that Russian-Spanish relations had attained the level of real strategic partnership. Grushko and Pujol highlighted the relevance and timeliness of such a large-scale bilateral project as the Cross Year, and gave high marks to the business contacts between different ministries and agencies of Russia and Spain.
In conclusion Alexander Grushko, thanking Juan Antonio Marc Pujol for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral partner relations, wished him professional success in his further diplomatic career.
