Press release on the presentation of the economic, investment, and tourism potential of the Republic of Dagestan

On June 6, the Cultural Centre of the Foreign Ministry’s Main Directorate for Servicing the Diplomatic Corps (GlavUpDK) hosted a presentation detailing the economic, investment, and tourism potential of the Republic of Dagestan. Attendees included Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergey Melikov, alongside members of the diplomatic corps, business representatives, and media personnel.

In his address, Sergey Lavrov highlighted the achievements of this constituent entity of the Russian Federation across various sectors. He underscored the efforts of its leadership to develop ties with foreign partners, a process facilitated by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Head of the Republic Sergey Melikov presented attendees with promising projects and industrial capabilities of Dagestan, alongside its rich cultural and historical heritage, unique traditions, and plans to expand international and foreign economic relations.
