Incident with Russian tourists in Thailand

On the 17 November, a Sayama Travel bus carrying Russian tourists from Pattaya on a tour of Samet Island was involved in an accident in Rayong Province, approximately 150 km from the capital city of Thailand.
The overturned bus was carrying 46 people, including three children (the children were not wounded in this accident). About 30 passengers received light and moderate injuries (bruises, scratches, cuts, fractures) as a result of this incident and were taken to hospitals in Pattaya and Rayong. All Russians were provided with qualified medical assistance arranged by the insurance company; the victims were discharged from the hospital and returned to their hotels on the same day.
As at the 18 November, three Russian nationals remain under observation of the Thai doctors in Bangkok Pattaya hospital: Goreva Tatyana Vasilievna, 1944, Shidlovskaya Ekaterina Alekseevna, 1989, and Zinnurova Alya Talgatovna, 1983. In the opinion of the attending doctors, their lives and health are not in danger.
