On the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia S.V. Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the FRG G. Westerwelle

The meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the FRG G. Westerwelle took place on 27 September in New York on the sidelines of the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly.

They considered a number of practical issues of relations between Russia and Germany, specified the schedule of bilateral political contacts in the near future.

They also touched upon certain other relevant international and regional problems of mutual interest, including the situation around Iran's Nuclear Programme and the way of peaceful settlement of Syrian crisis.
