Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov’s meeting with Hubert Bertsch, Honorary Consul of Russia in Bregenz, Austria

On December 5, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov received Mr Hubert Bertsch, Honorary Consul of Russia in Bregenz, Austria and General Director and owner of Bertsch Holding GmbH, at his request.

Since Mr Bertsch assumed his post only recently, they discussed the entire scope of bilateral relations in detail. They noted the constructive nature of Russian-Austrian relations, including their regional component, emphasised the stable dynamics of contacts in various fields, and gave a positive assessment to expanding interaction in the cultural, humanitarian and other spheres. They outlined a plan for the Honorary Consul’s short-term activities, with an emphasis on using his resources in preparing and holding Russian presidential elections in the consular district.
