Press release on the pipeline blast in Bahrain
On November 10, an explosion was reportedly caused on a pipeline in Bahrain which delivers oil to the country from Saudi Arabia. No one has claimed responsibility for this subversive act. No casualties have been reported.
Bahrain authorities blamed Iran for the blast, calling it “a dangerous escalation.” Teheran categorically rejected the accusation.
In view of the pipeline blast in Bahrain, Russia reaffirms its principled position of hostility to all acts of terror, including those directed against civil infrastructure.
