Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin’s meeting with Swiss Ambassador to Russia Yves Rossier
On October 20, State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin received Swiss Ambassador to Russia Yves Rossier at the latter’s request.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinions on the implementation of Switzerland’s mediatory mission to represent Russian interests in relations with Georgia.
They also discussed various aspects of the crisis in Ukraine, including the Russian initiative regarding a UN mission to protect the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.
