Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry

On September 28, during preparations for the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a routine meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry.

They discussed the problems of the Syrian settlement, the implementation of agreements on Iran’s nuclear programme and other aspects of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
