Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov Speaks to Swiss Minister of Foreign Affairs Micheline Calmy-Rey by Telephone

On November 20, a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey took place at the Swiss side's initiative.

The ministers exchanged views on a number of topical international problems, paying special attention to the situation in the Caucasus region. Certain practical issues in Russian-Swiss relations also were discussed.
