Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Speaks to German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle by Telephone

PRESS RELEASE

On July 5, a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Guido Westerwelle took place at the German side's initiative.

During their conversation they discussed topical issues on the agenda of the UN Security Council, in particular, the Sudan problem, and the progress of the preparation for the 13th regular round of Russian-German Interstate Consultations at Summit level.
