Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov's telephone conversation with leader of the Syria's Tomorrow opposition movement Ahmad Jarba
On October 2, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov spoke by phone with leader of the Syria's Tomorrow opposition movement Ahmad Jarba at the latter’s initiative.
They discussed the current situation in and around Syria with an emphasis on efforts to bolster the ceasefire regime and the prospects of advancing the political settlement process, with Syrians themselves in the lead, to end the crisis in the Syrian Arab Republic in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
