Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Titov Meets with Serb Republic People’s Assembly Speaker Igor Radojcic

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Titov on October 26 met with Igor Radojcic, Speaker of the People's Assembly of the Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is in Moscow on a working visit at the invitation of the leadership of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
In the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the development of economic cooperation with the Republika Srpska (RS), implementation of joint investment projects and the strengthening of ties in culture, science and education.
Radojcic briefed on the reaction in RS to the US-EU initiative concerning the Bosnian settlement and declared rejection of ideas aimed at revising the Dayton Constitution of the country.
The Russian side reiterated its readiness to actively participate in the stabilization processes in Bosnia, and stressed that the focus should now be on carrying out the urgent task of transforming the Office of the High Representative into a Mission of the EU Special Representative on the terms defined by the international community.
