Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov’s meeting with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Russia Raed bin Khaled Qarmali
On November 12, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation Raed bin Khaled Qarmali at the latter’s request.
The officials discussed a set of tasks to further strengthen Russian-Saudi relations, taking into account the results of President of Russia Vladimir Putin’s state visit to Riyadh on October 14-15.
They also exchanged views on key topics on the Middle East agenda with an emphasis on developments in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and the Persian Gulf region.
