Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov’s meeting with Fatah Central Committee Executive Secretary Jibril Rajoub
On November 8, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Fatah Central Committee Executive Secretary Jibril Rajoub.
The talks, also attended by Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal, focused on the problems of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement and Palestine’s internal situation with a special emphasis on the necessity of the speediest reinstatement of Palestinian national unity on the basis of the PLO platform.
Current issues concerning the further promotion of traditionally friendly Russian-Palestinian relations were also brought up.
