Georgian side's Insinuations Regarding Involvement of Russian Special Services in Terrorist Act at Gori
Unofficial translation from Russian
PRESS RELEASE
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has circulated a report alleging that Russian special services were involved in the terrorist act committed in the town of Gori on February 1, 2005.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers it necessary to declare that the Russian side has no relationship whatsoever to the said terrorist act. The persons named in the report of the Georgian ministry are neither listed nor work in any official structures of Russia.
Moscow is convinced that such insinuations do not serve the cause of normalizing the situation in South Ossetia, nor for that matter, the further development of Russian-Georgian relations.
