A conversation took place on July 20 between Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Yakovenko and the Ambassador at Large of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jose Cuenca.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed a broad spectrum of international environmental problems, devoting special attention to the realization of the Kyoto Protocol and the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the implementation of its mechanisms and expressing mutual keenness on continuing contacts in this field.
