Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko Meets with Antonio Armellini, Permanent Representative of Italy to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
A meeting took place on April 21 between the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko, and Italy's Permanent Representative to the OECD, Antonio Armellini. Also participating in the conversation was OECD Deputy Secretary General Richard Boucher.
During the conversation an exchange of views took place on a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to cooperation between Russia and the OECD, including the prospects for advancing the ongoing talks on Russia's accession to the Organization.
Armellini briefed that Silvio Berlusconi, who chairs the OECD Council in the current year, intends to devote a meeting to the Organization's relations with Russia and the countries participating in Enhanced Engagement programs (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa).
