It is good to have this opportunity on the margins of Russia – GCC to have some time to touch base on bilateral issues. 

We reiterate the importance of Russian – Saudi relations, our cooperation is growing, as well as our interaction on the international scene where our positions on a range of issues overlap. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and His Majesty the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud are on the same page during their regular meetings and phone conversations.
