Statement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the detention of Zvezda TV channel journalists in Ukraine
Ukraine continues to grossly violate the rights of Russian mass media.
On the 14 June, the militants from the so-called National Guard seized journalists from Zvezda TV channel, Yevgeny Davydov and Nikita Konashenkov in the Donetsk region.
Russia requests from Ukraine that they undertake the necessary measures to free the Russian journalists immediately.
