Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with Foreign Minister of Nicaragua Valdrack Jaentschke
On September 25, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua Valdrack Jaentschke on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The parties praised the dynamics of political dialogue and the allied nature of interaction between the two countries in the international arena aimed at upholding the principles of international law, the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The sides reaffirmed their mutual resolve to further expand bilateral ties across the board in the vein of strategic partnership.
