On December 19, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique to the Russian Federation Mario Saraiva Ngwenya at the latter’s request.

The officials had an in-depth discussion of the current issues concerning the traditionally friendly Russia-Mozambique ties with an emphasis on further promoting effective cooperation in politics, trade, the economy, science, technology and culture in the context of the results of the first Russia-Africa Summit held in Sochi in October and attended by President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi.
