Press release on Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin’s participation in the international conference Russia-Kazakhstan: A Forward-Looking Alliance
On February 28, State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin took part in the international conference Russia-Kazakhstan: A Forward-Looking Alliance, held in Astana.
In his speech, Mr Karasin pointed out the mutually beneficial nature of the strategic partnership and the relationship between Russia and Kazakhstan, and noted the most promising areas of cooperation, particularly in common integration associations. He also focused on further coordination of Russia’s and Kazakhstan’s policies in the regional and international arenas, as well as in the sphere of addressing challenges and threats to the security and development of the two nations.
