Press release on Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s conversation with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly
On September 25, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a conversation with Hungarian Minister of Foreign affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly.
The heads of the two foreign ministries discussed a schedule for upcoming meetings and the prospects for increasing trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Hungary, including in energy, industrial cooperation and social security. They agreed on an additional impetus to the work on the bilateral agreements in these and other areas.
They also exchanged opinions on some aspects of UN activity and current international issues of mutual interest.
