PRESS RELEASE

On 25 May Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. V. Lavrov and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia V. Pusich exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 20-th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment between the two states.

The message of the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs states a progressive development of the Russian-Croatian interaction in political, economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres. The importance of activation of work for practical realization of the bilateral agreements is emphasized. Determination for continuation of the dialogue of the two countries` Ministries of Foreign Affairs on topical international issues was confirmed.

The Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs in her reply message expressed her satisfaction with strengthening of the Russian-Croatian relations, emphasized the importance of bilateral contacts at the top and high levels as a basis for promotion of the relations between our countries. V. Pusich expressed her confidence in the fact that belonging of Russia and Croatia to the Slavic world remains a reliable guarantee of their successful cooperation in the globalization conditions.
