Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Speaks to Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis by Telephone

On August 18, a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Dora Bakoyannis took place at the Greek side's initiative.

The Greek Foreign Minister sharply condemned the terrorist act committed on August 17 in Nazran, and expressed her condolences to Russia's leadership and the kith and kin of the victims of this horrible tragedy.

Dora Bakoyannis also expressed her condolences over the accident at Sayano-Sushenskaya Hydro Power Plant.
