Press release on the exchange of congratulatory messages between Foreign Ministers of Russia and Grenada on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of restoring diplomatic relations
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Legal Affairs, Labour, Local Government, Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs Elvin Nimrod exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of restoring diplomatic relations between the countries, which was marked on September 17.
Mr Lavrov expressed confidence that the friendly relations between Russia and Grenada will continue to gradually develop for the benefit of our peoples, and confirmed readiness to build a constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation with St George's in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Mr Nimrod noted the Grenadian government's commitment to further strengthening relations between our countries in a spirit of mutual understanding and mutual respect. The Embassy of Grenada resuming work in Moscow, as well as the signing of a bilateral agreement on visa-free travel for citizens of both states, is evidence of the deepening of bilateral relations, according to the head of the Grenadian Foreign Ministry.
