Russian MFA Information and Press Department Commentary on the Decision of an Estonian Court to Acquit the Leaders of the Nochnoi Dozor (Night Watch) Movement
The decision of the court has once again confirmed the justice of the public anger over the provocative scheme of Estonian authorities to defile the burial ground of Soviet soldiers and relocate the Monument to the Liberator Soldier in Tallinn. The acquittal of the Nochnoi Dozor leaders is essentially a verdict of guilty for those who had decided to mock the memory of the fallen and rewrite history.
