On September 27, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph Gonsalves in New York on the sidelines of the 74^th UN General Assembly session.

The ministers exchanged views, in a constructive manner, on key issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed important issues on the regional and international agendas, as well as interaction between the two countries at the UN, including in the context of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines being elected a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for a two-year term in 2020 and 2021.
