Press release on First Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov’s meeting with the heads of the diplomatic missions of Central and Eastern European countries
On December 4, First Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov met in Moscow with the heads of the diplomatic missions of Austria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
They reviewed the development of bilateral and foreign policy cooperation between Russia and the Central and Eastern European countries this year. There was a substantive discussion on the status of relations between Russia and the EU as well as Russia and NATO. The officials spoke about the deteriorating process of multilateral disarmament and arms control, the prospects for an intra-Ukrainian settlement, developments in Syria and several other important issues on the international agenda.
