I appreciate this opportunity to compare notes on issues of cooperation. Russia and the DPRK have many bilateral plans. We will certainly discuss security in North East Asia and the general situation on the Korean Peninsula. Our goal, as before, is to ensure a nuclear-free status through the attainment of agreements that suit all parties. We would like the security of all countries in the region, including, of course, that of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, to be reliably ensured. We also would like the DPRK’s legitimate interests to be respected by all without exception. We will also discuss humanitarian ties between our two countries, ties that are developing at a fast rate for the benefit of our peoples.
