Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s opening remarks at talks with Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, Moscow, April 17, 2019
Mr First Deputy Prime Minister,
We are glad to welcome you to Moscow.
We continue our active dialogue, the tone for which was set by top-level contacts. In particular, I mean the visit by President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Belgrade on January 17, 2019. The presidents reviewed the progress in the implementation of all earlier agreements and outlined new areas of cooperation in the economy, foreign policy, interparliamentary exchanges as well as humanitarian and cultural ties.
Today we have a good opportunity to continue the efforts to ensure an intensive onward development of our relations in all areas, including foreign policy coordination.
