Publication by the Times

A New Cold War, an editorial published in the British newspaper The Times on April 18, 2017, referred to the Russian media Russia Today and Sputnik as fake news outlets Let's leave this fiction on the conscience of those unknown authors who should be perfectly aware that the British media regulator, Ofcom, never found any proof that the media in question disseminate false information.

The article does not provide any evidence of why these news agencies are called spreaders of fake news or cite any facts to support this. Furthermore, the authors of the article say that Russia Today and Sputnik help spread "fraudulent propaganda." To see such conclusions in a newspaper that once enjoyed the reputation of a highly professional publication is very sad. Unfortunately, The Times continues its information attacks on Russia without trying to understand the context of the rather complicated relations between Russia and the West.
