Press release on coming into effect of the agreement on reciprocal visa-free travel between the Russian Federation and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis of September 21, 2017

On November 21, 2017, an agreement on visa-free travel between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis comes into effect.

The agreement, signed on September 21, 2017, in New York, enables citizens of the Russian Federation in possession of valid diplomatic, service or cross-border passports, and citizens of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, with valid diplomatic, service and national passports, to enter, leave, transit or stay on the territory of the other state for a period of up to 90 days during a 180-day period, starting from the date of first entry.

Citizens of either state who intend to stay or live on the territory of the other country for more than 90 days, or to work or carry out business activity there, have to obtain a visa from a diplomatic or consular office of the relevant state, in accordance with its laws.
