Press release on State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin’s meeting with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Imangali Tasmagambetov
On July 17, State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Imangali Tasmagambetov.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on topical issues in Russian-Kazakhstani cooperation as well as interaction between Moscow and Astana within various international formats. The parties noted the high level of strategic partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan.
The schedule was discussed for upcoming contact between the leaders of the two countries, including at the 14th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum to be attended by heads of state (October 26, Chelyabinsk).
The meeting took place in a traditionally trusting and friendly atmosphere.
