Press release on the Foreign Ministry’s consultations on multilateral cooperation in the Arctic

During consultations on March 29, Vladimir Barbin, Ambassador-at-Large for Arctic Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Aleksi Härkönen, Ambassador for Arctic Affairs at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, discussed practical issues of multilateral cooperation in the Arctic, including in the context of Finland’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2017-2019. Mr Härkönen was also received by First Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov.
