Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs/State Secretary Grigory Karasin Speaks to Kazakh Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nurlan Ermekbayev by Telephone
A telephone conversation took place on September 2 between State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Ermekbayev.
During their conversation they discussed matters relating to preparations for the upcoming VII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan with the participation of the heads of the states in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Mutual confidence was expressed that the Forum would constitute an important stage in deepening and developing cross-border and interregional ties of the two countries.
